after the shotgun lessons, the children (weirdly) pick up all the spent shells and set up shop on their porches... bartering and trading shot gun shells, clay pidgeons and - when we move to rifles later on the week - rifle shells too

they run back and forth between their 'shops' while we, adults, are bewildered
