bosco's bday non-sleepover

we attempted a sleepover for bosco's birthday
but it turns out that none of these boys has had a sleepover yet (including bosco)

SO.... we had a super long/late party for bosco.
owen, evan, and matthew brought their bikes and rollerblades and sticks and they all played outside (each blond head looking like bosco from behind!) for hours.
then they made their own pizzas, had cake, and watched netflicks until 9:30pm

and if i was a good mom/wife, i'd have continued documenting rob's progress on bosco's costume...
BUT
i am not.
i am tired.  i cannot do everything that needs to be done.  i can't find my camera or, when i do, the batteries are dead.  i am a miserable failure at keeping on top of my life *
