(just before the curtain rose, pepper texted to say her play had won divisionals and was moving on to regionals)

PromCom or How to get from There to Here

1. pepper wrote a play over the summer, a rom-com full of highschool stereotypes getting ready for prom
2. she submitted it to her teacher who agreed it would be 1 of the 2 Lourdes offerings that went to the Sears Drama Festival
3. pepper took on the role of director and cast her play
4. .....lots of time and hard work
5. its debut was to be March 1st but a storm pushed that to the 4th (lucky for us as we were still in cuba)

before it began, i warned my family that there was no point in offering constructive criticisms once it was over as this was a one shot deal...that we should stick with the positives.

it was amazing. and SO funny.

as the curtain went down, i was speechless, near tears. i couldn't believe she had created such a wonderful play. 

(p.s. they won the division)
