it's thursday morning and it's an early morning ride to a campout breakfast.
i've finally figured out that ibuprophen is great for a troublesome knee, so it's all good
then it's time for our family ride

then it's time to head back home, get some lunch, and start shooting again, this time it's 22 rifles
it was a dunn-dufault day goal years ago to meet a real-life cowboy and, with our favorite wrangler malcolm, we surely have. (like cutting open his thumb with a hunting knife to get at a splinter, then sewing up it up with fishing wire!)

the aussies rob and malcolm
btw - here's how we did on our targets; they're held up to the light so the bright spots are where our bullets hit
friday, and our last full day here - there's an optional full-day ride...
but we do our usual morning-only ride, and boy are we glad. shortly after we get home, the skies open, and hail (!) pours down
pity the poor full-day riders
so thank-you and goodbye to: ronnie, frenchy, blink, wally, and boo
and we finish with casino night -
i guess teaching the children how to gamble isn't much worse than teaching them to use guns?
