we sleep in, have breakfast, then head to the book of mormon lottery.
the guy there recognizes us and wishes us luck - but to no avail :(
at the M&M's store, we select chocolate from numerous silos. yum :)
the place has 3 floors, can you believe that?!
(oh, this blouse is something pepper bought for herself when we were in soho the day before)
we walk across the brooklyn bridge, enjoying the view and our ice cream.
it's not crowded here, but as we get closer to the manhatten side, the number of people increase.
we go to central station looking for the little miss matched store but it's very small, so we ask where's the other location - when we find it, i indulge myself there... yeah!
we grab dinner at 5 guys again - i'm that addicted! - and jump on the subway just in time to enter the evening mormon lottery. again.
and we don't win. again.
we walk around rockerfeller and visit st patrick's cathedral where pepper lights candle for nanny
then we visit american girl where the universe is skewed towards girls and their dolls.
there's a tea room, a doll hairdresser on the second floor, and even doll-holders next to the toilets and the sinks in the washrooms!
we finish the evening with some shopping on 5th avenue...
where i buy pepper (and myself) some rubber boots at aldo's
everywhere we look there are these huge platform shoes with coloured wedges.
- we should have taken a picture -
and yet, we've only seen one woman wearing these types of shoes in nyc. are the tourists the ones buying them?
