measuring stick


like most families, we used to keep track of measurements on the wall. after rob capped this wall end in pine for aesthetics, we moved the measurements to a stick

things were going as expected... by age 18 months, their heights had clustered together (that's both pepper and fierce marked at the same height at 1 1/2 years, in fact) and remained clustered for years:

then there's this huge growth spurt between ages 5 and 6:

and bosco's not even on the above photo - look below to see where he went in ONE year:

and now we have a new cluster
one where bosco hints at the height he may one day achieve
