a google search tells me this is actually called 'tire sure la neige'
but i swear, growing up in montreal, we called it sirop tiré
we tapped our maple tree out back (again)
but this year for some reason
(low rain? ridiculously cold winter?)
we got a massive amount of syrup out of it.
so much,
we boiled it even further to make our own sirop tiré
our biggest problem was gathering enough snow to spread it on!!!
